While building backlinks, developing your social media presence, and other off-site practices are great for boosting your site’s rankings, on-page optimization is still incredibly important. You need to understand where you are now in order to accurately assess your future rankings. Each webpage needs to have a unique title and you should try to include your primary phrase in every title of each page. When choosing anchor text, select phrases that make sense to the reader within the context of the content. These phrases may even contain exact match words.

Consider the intent of the searcher and create epic content that will service that intent while at the same time selling them your products or services with a lead generation form or listing of products. Increase leads and ultimately sales
Aside from offering users the best insights possible, high-quality content goes hand in hand with your backlink profile--a key element of SEO. The more links that you amass back to your website from other authoritative websites, the greater the likelihood is of improving the visibility your website receives in search engines. When people would copy the infographic because they liked it, they were also copying links. Widgets were also used this way. No one appreciates them. Rather than default to a generic, automatically-generated URL, take time to think about how users would search for your content and include one of those phrases in your URL. Separate words with hyphens to make the words in the phrase clear to users and search engines. Avoid smushing all the words together.
